Red cells highlights from ASH 2012, Atlanta


The American Society of Hematology (ASH) 54th Annual Meeting was held on 8-11 December 2012. In the following short film, Finbarr Cotter (Barts Cancer Institute, London, and Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Haematology) is joined in Atlanta by Deborah Rund (Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem) to discuss highlights from the conference around managing red-cell disease. There was considerable interest in this area of haematology at this year's ASH meeting.
